The history

Punta Mita officially opened in December 1999, incidentally becoming the first private luxury community in all of Latin America. Is a 1,500-acre private peninsula that is home to the Four Seasons Punta Mita, the St. Regis Punta Mita, and 16 exclusive residential communities. It is located at the northern end of Banderas Bay, in the Mexican state of Nayarit, about 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
